Somaiya was 'aware' of the PMC bank scam and people close to him withdrew money before the bank went bust. Raut alleged Neil Somaiya's project in Vasai had no environmental clearances, but construction was on. He requested that the economic offences wing of the Mumbai Police register a case against Somaiya and his son.
