Pokémon Legends: Arceus - Arezu’s Predicament Request Walkthrough
After quelling the frenzied Kleavor in Pokémon Legends: Arceus, players will move on to the "Arezu's Predicament" main story quest. This mission will take players to a new area, Crimson Mirelands, to search for and attempt to calm a frenzied Lilligant. Arezu is a hair stylist from the Diamond Clan that will automatically approach players once they head to Galaxy Hall after helping Kleavor in Obsidian Fieldlands.
Players will need to reach the Second Star Member rank with the Galaxy Team in order to reach Crimson Mirelands and continue the quest. Catching new Pokémon and completing Pokédex entries will help with ranking up. After reaching Crimson Mirelands in Pokémon Legends: Arceus, players will need to visit the Solaceon Ruins to find Calaba, Ursaluna's caretaker. Calaba, who is part of the Pearl Clan, is initially unwelcoming and doesn't want to associate with the Diamond Clan. After speaking to Calaba, Volo will appear and issue a challenge. Volo has Togepi and Gible, but with a full party, players shouldn't have any trouble defeating him.
Once the battle is decided, Volo will explain the missing wall fragment in Solaceon Ruins. The wall fragment was taken by a group of bandits known as Miss Fortunes. Players will need to find the trio by heading to the marker, then another battle will take place. Coin will use a Toxicroak who is weakest against Psychic-, Ground-, and Flying-type moves. After her one Pokémon is defeated, the Miss Fortunes will hand over the wall fragment and leave. Players can then return the fragment to Calaba at the Solaceon Ruins. Calaba will ask for players to meet her on Sludge Mound to help calm Ursaluna.
Upon reaching Sludge Mound, a fight against Ursaluna will begin. Ursaluna is weak against Water-, Grass-, Ice-, and Fighting-type moves. Players will need to defeat Ursaluna to unlock it as a mount. While riding Ursaluna in Pokémon Legends: Arceus, it will indicate the direction of buried items that can be dug up. Ursaluna can also be used to track someone after learning their scent. After fighting Ursaluna, players can return to Jubilife Village to report their findings. To continue "Arezu's Predicament," players must use Ursaluna's ability to find Arezu by following the blue indicator. Ursaluna can be somewhat difficult to use, so finding Arezu may take some time. Players can look for Arezu in between the markers for Solaceon Ruins and Scarlet Bog.
Upon reaching Arezu, players will learn that she injured her ankle while she was out gathering resources to help quell the frenzied Lilligant. After the cutscene plays, a new marker will appear directing players to the arena where Lady Lilligant is waiting in Pokémon Legends: Arceus. The last step for completing "Arezu's Predicament" is using balms to calm Lady Lilligant. Throughout the battle, Lilligant will jump up and slam down two to four times in a row. Players can avoid taking damage by dodging just as Lilligant hits the ground. In the second half of the battle, Lilligant will also use a spin attack after landing that players need to jump over.
Balms will need to be thrown constantly to drain the frenzy bar at the top. When Lilligant is stunned, players can send in their Pokémon to fight Lilligant who is a Grass- and Fighting-type. Once Lilligant is calmed in Pokémon Legends: Arceus, a cutscene will play. After Lilligant is successfully returned to its normal state, players can head back to Jubilife Village to report to Commander Kamado. A few new requests will also be available in Galaxy Hall when players return. Speaking to Commander Kamado will conclude "Arezu's Predicament," then players can move on to the next main story mission in Pokémon Legends: Arceus.
