American Airlines passenger facing federal charges for allegedly attempting to open plane door mid-flight

An American Airlines passenger who tried to open the plane door midair appeared to be suffering paranoid delusions, telling flight attendants people were chasing him before grabbing a roll of plastic silverware and attempting to use the knife as a shank.
