A large 6 ft bull buffalo, Gajendra, from here, is in high demand for breeding, among people rearing cattle. Gajendra, aged 3.5 years, weighs 1,050 kg, and is worth Rs 1 crore. Its caretaker earns Rs 40,000 a month, by using Gajendra to mate female buffaloes.
