[Cycling] Cycling Claims USA Cycling BMX National Championship
PHOENIX, Ariz. – The Lindsey Wilson cycling team finished in first place at the USA Cycling BMX National Championship to claim the program's second BMX national championship in program history on Sunday afternoon. The Blue Raiders bested nine other programs from across the country.
Lindsey Wilson scored 296 points across the two-day championship to defeat Marian by four points. The Blue Raiders sat in third place following the first day of competition with 144 points as both the men and women notched 72 points for a 144 day one total. Marian and Colorado Mesa were deadlocked in a tie for first with 146 points.
