Hi, I’m Crockett, the big friendly giant! I’m a very social boy: My favorite things are making new friends and giving kisses. I love going for walks and gently tossing my toys around, but I also enjoy mellow days lounging about. I’m looking for a cuddle buddy who will cozy up with me at night and spoil me with pets throughout the day. I’d be a great fit in just about any home looking for an easygoing, affectionate pooch, but I need to go to a home without cats. For more information, visit the Berkeley-East Bay Humane Society (BEBHS) online at berkeleyhumane.org.

Mikey is the pet of the week at the East Bay SPCA, Oakland. (photo courtesy of the East Bay SPCA, Oakland)

Hello, I’m Mikey, a shy yet very goofy boy that’s looking for a kind, patient owner to help me come out of my shell and teach me confidence. Once we get to know each other on a deeper level, you’ll see my goofy and playful personality, which will have you laughing and smiling all day. Treat me sweet and kind and I’ll blossom ’cause I’m a dog on a mission to please you. Let’s meet and be partners in this adventure called life. Learn more about the East Bay SPCA’s current adoption process at eastbayspca.org/adopt-me.

Giuseppe is the Contra Costa SPCA’s pet of the week. (photo courtesy of the Contra Costa SPCA)

Giuseppe thinks he’s so sweet, special and playful. We think so too.

He’s a 4-month old black domestic shorthair kitten. He’s a cat’s cat, loves playing with other cats, stalking and pouncing on them. You can almost see him smile. Since he has been in his foster home he has developed a special friendship with a kitten named Chigs. They do a great job of snuggling and laying in the sun together, and we’d like to see them adopted together. For more information about Giuseppe or any Contra Costa SPCA (CCSPCA) pets please call Pat at 925-323-0667.
