Jamal Edwards made heartbreaking plans with his Loose Women star mum Brenda just days before his death
JAMAL Edwards had made plans with his mum Brenda in the weeks leading up to his death.
The music mogul passed away on Sunday following a sudden illness, at the age of 31.
He had been messaging Loose Women star Brenda about filming TikTok videos with her just two weeks before.
Jamal – who was incredibly close to his mum – commented on one of her videos joking: “I’m gonna have to keep up.”
Brenda replied to him, saying: “We should get some TikTok and Reels recorded.”
He told her: “Yes, when you’re ready.”
Brenda, who finished fourth in the second series of the X Factor in 2005, broke her silence on Jamal’s death earlier today – describing him as “her world”.

She said in a statement: “It is with the deepest heartache that I confirm that my beautiful son Jamal Edwards passed away yesterday morning after a sudden illness.
“Myself, his sister Tanisha, and the rest of his family and friends are completely devastated. He was the centre of our world.
“As we come to terms with his passing, we asked for privacy to grieve this unimaginable loss. I would like to thank everyone for their messages of love and support.
“Jamal was an inspiration to myself and so many. Our love for him lives on, his legacy lives on. Long live Jamal Edwards MBE, MBA, PhD.”
Loose Women tribute
Earlier today Brenda’s Loose Women co-stars broke down in tears following the news of his death.
Host Charlene White was joined by Brenda’s close friend Judi Love, as well as regular panellists Linda Robson, Carol McGiffin and Frankie Bridge.
Charlene started the show telling viewers: “Any of you who watch the show regularly will know the love Brenda had for her children was massive.
“Her heart was full of so much love for them.
“So you’ll know just how shocked Brenda is and just how it’s hit all of us who knew him and all of us who love Brenda. We want to do Brenda proud.”
Charlene revealed she had left Brenda’s home in the early hours of this morning after rushing to be by her side with co-star Judi Love.
Judi said: “I don’t want to be doing this, but we have to. It’s heartbreaking.
“All we can do is try and do the best we can to support Brenda and honour her amazing son in such a difficult time. We just wanted to be there for her yesterday.”
Charlene added: “We wanted to be there with Brenda [and her daughter] to give them all the hugs and love we could possibly give them. Not that it’s going to help but we need them to know we love them.”
