Lala Kent Talks Weight Struggle & What She's Learned From Pump Rules
Vanderpump Rules star Lala Kent recently did a Q&A on Instagram and talked about some serious topics, such as weight struggle and life lessons she's gleaned from her time on the show. She also reposted a video of turning her Randall Emmett tattoo she got for her ex-fiancé, into a “bRand new” experience, after she learned that the movie producer has cheated on her while on a trip to Nashville, Tennessee. However, Lala has long moved on.
After the cheating allegations made their way to Lala, the Give Them Lala author didn’t think twice about staying with a cheater. She did what she had to do for her own well-being and her 10-month-old daughter’s Ocean Kent Emmett, who she co-parents with Randall. She has moved out and on and has mentioned being back in the dating game, Lala even hired a private investigator for future love interests.
As reported by Reality Blurb, Lala recently did a Q&A for her fans on her Instagram story and was quite humble and supportive with her answers. When one fan asked her what her diet is, she answered with, “I do have to attribute a lot to genetics. My brothers and I are naturally on the thinner side.” She also added that she doesn’t believe in diets but that she does follow a workout routine and is conscious of what she eats, as “Skinny flab is a real thing.” Lala also reposted a video of her updating the tattoo of “Rand” by turning it into the phrase "bRand new," which represents her current life chapter. Although the former couple is co-parenting their daughter Ocean together, they have not spoken or seen each other, although it was reported that Lala and Randall were at a Super Bowl party together, the Bravo star later clarified that she was nowhere near him.
Another fan asked her about what she took away from being on Vanderpump Rules for so long. Lala replied, “Love yourself and forgive yourself. This world will eat you alive if you let it. Your thoughts are important and you should be heard. The show taught me to be confident in who I am and my evolution.” Ever since her breakup, Lala has been open with her fans about what went down and how she is moving on. Although she has been pretty humble about it overall, Lala has occasionally trolled Randall, even going as far as to post a shady Instagram poll about his reported debt.
Vanderpump Rules season 9 was definitely challenging for Lala, especially the reunion, given that she had to apologize for questioning her castmates' relationships when her own was secretly crumbling behind her back. While apologizing has never been her strong suit, Lala has grown a lot since her first appearance on the show and she admitted to having been wrong. While calling off her engagement to Rand has to be devastating, Lala is moving on. Hopefully, Lala returns for another season so fans can see just how that works out for her.
