The Russian military and border guards prevented a sabotage of the Russian state border from the territory of Ukraine
The press service of the Southern Military District stated:
- The Russian military and border guards have prevented a sabotage group from violating the state border from Ukrainian territory
- Five saboteurs who had broken through from Ukraine into the Russian Federation have been eliminated
- Two combat vehicles of the Ukrainian Armed Forces entered across the border with Russia for the emergency evacuation of saboteurs from Ukrainian territory
- Russian military and border guards were not injured in the sabotage from Ukraine
- Russian border guards have requested military reinforcements to cover the state border after the discovery of Ukrainian saboteurs
