After Nisha Rawal decided to opt out of the ongoing family drama, Meet: Badlegi Duniya Ki Reet, to take up a reality show, the makers of the daily soap had been busy searching for an actress, who could take over from her to play Masoom. Their search has ended with Parakh Madan, who was last seen in Qurbaan Hua, which ended in September 2021, following a run of a year-and-a-half.
