English skater Dan, 45, revealed that there was chaos in the studio before Sunday night’s show as rehearsals were put on hold.

The associate creative director behind the ITV show detailed how the UK storm meant that preparations fell behind.

He told OK! magazine in his weekly column: “Everyone was stressed to the max because they hadn’t had their normal rehearsal time.”

“It’s been one of the most stressful weeks we’ve had so far,” Dan added. “Last night’s show was packed, there was so much preparation.

“I’ve never seen so many quick changes – people running from place to place, hair and makeup being done, skates on and off, people running backstage in their undies, it was manic.”

Dan detailed that the “show wasn’t finished on Saturday” as they had to “down tools because of how strong the wind was”.

“We all had to go home, and that put everyone behind,” he concluded. “I thought the show was great in the end.”

The star also shared his thoughts on Bez being voted out of the competition, calling the musician “joyful” and “relatable”.

The Happy Mondays star was the latest celebrity to leave the ITV skating show over the weekend, leaving fans disappointed.

Many are gutted their favourites was axed last night – and are now even threatening to boycott the rest of the show.

Fans mourned the indie music icon’s exit after he got booted off Dancing on Ice in musicals week, and took to Twitter when he lost the skate-off to Corrie’s Sally Dynevor.

One fan wrote: “Now Bez is out, Thank the Lord, Mary, Joseph and the wee donkey I don’t have to watch ever again.”

A second said: “Secretly gutted that Bez is out of #DancingOnIce. He definitely improved since week one and so much fun to watch!”

A third said: “I’m glad Bez is out now I don’t have to watch that show anymore. Well done, Bez.”

A fourth chimed in: “Farewell Bez you were a legend.”

Bez performed in a skate-off against Sally, but faltered throughout Sunday’s show, including his pro partner Angela Egan falling over as they fought to keep their place in the competition.
