3. Newbury Park (4-0): Quinn Haggarty has seven hits in the team’s first four games. Junior pitchers Cole Miller and Derek Turner each have 10 strikeouts. The Panthers are for real.
4. Hart (3-1): The Indians took Newbury Park to 10 innings in the Easton Tournament semifinal before losing 5-4. This team is the heavy favorite to win the Foothill League.
5. Notre Dame (3-1): The Knights beat St. Bonaventure, Dos Pueblos and Agoura before falling to Sierra Canyon in the Easton Tournament semifinal 4-2 Saturday.
6. Granada Hills (3-1): The Highlanders’ only loss this season is to Sierra Canyon. Easton Hawk is emerging as an impact sophomore at the plate and on the mound.

8. Westlake (3-1): The Warriors notched wins over Sun Valley Poly, Santa Barbara and St. Bonaventure in the Easton Tournament.
