I covered my girlfriend’s rent since she couldn’t afford it – I then found out what she doing with her time and money
A MAN was left devastated when he discovered that he had been paying his girlfriend’s rent while she cheated on him.
The 29-year-old anonymous man claimed she told him she was struggling financially.
A heartbroken man revealed what he found when he went through his girlfriend’s things[/caption] She told him she was going to visit her sister in Seattle[/caption]The man, who posted on Reddit asking for help, started his story by saying he had a feeling something was off between them for the last couple of weeks.
But he was only able to first confirm it when she canceled her trip to England out of the blue.
He explained: “She and her friend had made plans to go to England for a week and they were supposed to leave the day after Valentine’s Day.
“But randomly she had texted me that she’d be going to her sisters in Seattle for the three days leading up to Valentine’s Day.”
With this, also came more news: she couldn’t pay her rent. But because they were partners, he generously took care of it.
Unfortunately, things took a turn for the worse when she actually traveled out of state.

While she was out of town, the woman had barely spoken to him, which made him even more suspicious that something was going on.
So once he picked her up from the airport, he confronted her and they both admitted something wasn’t right.
He revealed: “On Valentine’s Day we cried and held each other and vowed to work on things. She left the next day.
“But I wasn’t convinced so I went through her iPad and found her texts.”
It turns out his girlfriend didn’t go up to Seattle to visit her sister. She’d actually met up with another man.
As for not being able to afford her rent, that was due to the expensive roundtrip ticket she purchased.
The devastated man explained: “She constantly accused me of cheating, and went through my phone.
“The worst part of it all was she was still talking to him even after we cried and said we were going to work on us.
“I actually spoke to him. She’d told him we were broken up and I had moved out. I saw all of the text messages.
“She let me feel like I was the bad guy. She took my money, lied to me, cheated on me. Now I don’t know what to do. I still love her.”
Many sympathized with the heartbroken man and encouraged him to close the door to that relationship once and for all.
One person said: “I’m so sorry you’re going through this. I was also cheated on, and remember the pain it caused.”
A second wrote: “Love isn’t enough, love is the bare minimum for a relationship. Trust me, you can find better, easily.”
“Sorry bro, I know it hurts. She used you and abused you.
“The level of disregard and deceit isn’t repairable. Time to move on and without her,” continued a third.
He couldn’t believe she was still talking to him even after they said they were going to work on things[/caption]We pay for your stories!
