Dusting of snow creates slick roads in Oregon, SW Washington

PORTLAND, Ore. (KOIN) -- Patchy snow showers are expected Thursday morning leaving a light dusting on roadways.

Roads are expected to remain driveable but will be slick. Drivers should use caution

Areas of I-5 are experiencing slowdowns as a dusting of snow blankets the road. There are a few crashes along the highway early Thursday morning.

The heaviest snow will likely fall north in southwest Washington, though flurries are expected in and around the Portland area.
