With the arrival of Arcane, League of Legends' first TV show based on its champions and their stories from the video game, fans of the show are excited to see more from the expanding universe. Not only is the show getting a second season, but the company has also promised more content to come about different champions.
All this being said, there are many possibilities for the potential casting in different LoL series or even a movie. Redditors have even taken to listing who they would want to be cast as their favorite champions and their choices do not disappoint.
On a thread asking who fans would like to see cast in a potential LoL movie, Redditor Eatworksleepdie says that they "came here to say Danny Devito as Heimerdinger." Heimerdinger is a Yordle, which means he can live a long life and is short in stature.
Danny DeVito, who has had many memorable roles, was nominated by fans numerous times to play different Yordles because, as well as being hilarious, he brings his eccentric and fun personality to every role he plays. Heimerdinger would be the best one for him to play because of his wacky scientist persona.
Tycon572 says that "Scarlett Johansson needs to play Irelia." The versatile actress was listed by many different Redditors as being great for this role, with some citing her resemblance to the characters and others noting her experience in the action genre, particularly in the MCU, which has many great action sequences.
Overall, she would be a near-perfect fit for the role. Not only is she a great actress, but her status as one of Hollywood's most famous names would be sure to bring in plenty of fans who aren't necessarily familiar with LoL.
ThrowinMeeps suggested on Reddit that James Faulkner, Swain's voice actor, play the role of his in a live-action movie because "he looks similar to Swain." Not to mention, since he has the same voice, fans of the game will immediately know it's him without even looking at the screen.
James Faulkner also played Randyll Tarly on Game Of Thrones so he's no stranger to the fantasy genre. Keeping the same actor would satisfy fans of the game and give people who have never played a strong grasp on who Swain is and what he sounds like.
Redditor Toffer007 says "I think Kit Harrington could be a great Sylas" because "he played the villain for [Infinite Warfare] and did a banger job."
Kit Harington has a huge fanbase now due to his starring role in Game of Thrones, where he appeared in most episodes, and he would bring new audiences to a movie about League of Legends and its champions. Though he would likely have to do some more strength training for the role, he's a great fit.

Even though Jinx has her own show, Arcane, that doesn't mean she shouldn't be included in a new storyline in a LoL movie. With Margot Robbie playing her, she would be even more beloved than she already is.

Draven has a menacing look and Momoa knows how to play less likable characters. He could put a really interesting personal spin on the champion and his storyline as a bloodthirsty antihero.

Sett is a top laner who is known for his buff facade and his ability to wrestle other players to the ground, so Johnson's previous work in wrestling has arguably given him he perfect experience to take on the role.

Not only is Terry Crews a big, strong guy, but he has the attitude to go along with the champion as well. While some fans of Malphite wanted him to be portrayed by Dwayne Johnson, Terry Crews was the overwhelming favorite for the role among Redditors.
