How to Get Wood in Pokémon Legends: Arceus | Screen Rant

0

Wood is surprisingly scarce in Pokémon Legends: Arceus, but this crafting material is easy to farm if players know where to look. Legends: Arceus’ new crafting system allows players to make all the items they need for their excursions into the wilderness of the ancient pre-Poké Mart region of Hisui. While wood isn’t nearly as important as crafting materials like the Apricorns or Tumblestones that are used to make Poké Balls, players will need to find at least a few logs before they can beat the game.

Wood can only be found at a few locations throughout Pokémon Legends: Arceus, but fortunately, players won’t actually need that much of this material for their adventure through Hisui. Wood is required to complete just two of the game’s quests, one of which is an optional Request for Anvin at the Jubilife Village Craftworks. His Request, “Please! Make Me a Pokeshi Doll!” tasks players with gathering wood to craft him a Pokeshi Doll, and once he gives players the recipe, they’ll be able to craft more of these valuable items any time to sell for 1,000 Pokédollars. However, trainers will also need wood to beat the game’s main story since it’s required to complete Cogita’s Mission, “Seeking the Remaining Plates.”

Fortunately, wood spawns at fixed locations in Pokémon Legends: Arceus, and once players find it, they’ll be able to return to that spot to farm as much of the material as they need. However, wood won’t respawn after a rest at the campsite, so players will have to return to Jubilife Village to get it to reappear. Wood also tends to spawn in clusters, so trainers can search the surrounding area to pick up a few extra logs before returning to the village.

As the first area players explore in Pokémon Legends: Arceus, the Obsidian Fieldlands is one of the best locations to gather wood since it’s accessible to trainers shortly after they start the game. However, trainers will be able to find wood in every area of Hisui, and most of these locations are relatively close to the teleport waypoints players unlock, making it extremely easy to farm. If players are having trouble finding enough wood in the wild, Scyther and Kleavor may also drop this material after being caught or defeated in battle. Wood in Legends: Arceus can be found in the following locations:

  • Obsidian Fieldlands: Deertrack Heights just northeast of the bridge by the boulder, Grandtree Arena
  • Crimson Mirelands: on the ledge just northeast of the Brava Arena teleport waypoint
  • Cobalt Coastlands: Spring Path on the ledges near Alpha Mothim’s spawn location
  • Coronet Highlands: directly north of the Highlands Camp near the river in Heavenward Lookout
  • Alabaster Icelands: directly south of the Icepeak Arena in the wooded area of Arena’s Approach
