Betfair punter scoops £1,506 as 72/1 shot wins in just 45 minutes of Atletico Madrid vs Man Utd
ONE lucky punter enjoyed Manchester United’s Champions League encounter with Atletico Madrid more than most.
The Betfair customer placed a £21 bet just before the half-time break and walked away with an astounding £1,506!
With minutes before the half-time whistle and ZERO cards dished out to either side, this mystery bettor backed both teams to receive over 3.5 cards at 72/1!
And he didn’t have to wait long before midfielder Hector Herrera obliged with a booking seconds before the break.
Then, all hell broke loose.
Romanian referee Ovidiu Hategan reached in and out of his pocket FOUR times between the 50th-65th minute of the match.
