The One Show booted off of BBC One in major schedule shake-up
THE One Show will be missing from its usual slot on Thursday after the BBC announced a major schedule shake-up earlier today.
Normally airing weekdays on BBC One at 7pm, The One Show will be missing from its usual spot this evening – and for good reason.
BBC News At Six will instead broadcast on BBC One during The One Show’s usual 7pm slot.
The family favourite show will instead vacate to BBC Two at the same time.
In addition, BBC News At Ten will also be extended and, as a result, Question Time will be pushed back to 10:55pm.
The schedule shake-up comes amidst Russia‘s invasion of Ukraine, starting what could be the largest conflict in Europe since the Second World War.
Russia’s President Vladimir Putin has begun a full-scale military invasion of Ukraine and demanded Kyiv’s army lay down its weapons.
Chilling video from today appears to show the moment Russian helicopter gunships swept over Ukraine to attack an airport just miles from Kyiv.
Russian choppers can be seen hurtling over the landscape as they attacked the military base at Gostomel Airport.
With the fog of war descending, getting information out of the war-torn nation remains difficult.
