I’m a hairstylist – you can achieve pin-straight hair with a household product and it doesn’t involve using any heat
PLENTY of women love a silky smooth hairstyle.
What they don’t love, however, is all of the heat damage that typically comes along with using styling tools.
However, one hairstylist showed off a really weird trick to get your hair pin straight and you probably already have the necessary item in your kitchen.
The hair expert named Maria Aiello shared her heatless hair hack in a video that has since raked in over one million views.
The trick is simple enough. You just need to grab some plastic wrap.
In the video, Maria lightly dampened her hair with a spray bottle.
Then she took a piece of plastic wrap and tightly wound it around one large section of her hair, then repeated the process on the other side.
Maria left the plastic wrap in for an unspecified amount of time, then when she yanked it off, her hair was left perfectly smooth.

Some people weren’t too convinced this trick actually worked like one person who wrote: “Wish that would work on my hair but it won’t,” and another who added: “Girl your hair is already straight and it looks the same.”
Someone else trolled the hairstylist for using plastic wrap and wrote: “So bad for the environment.”
Meanwhile, if curly hair is more your style, there’s a trick for you that involves a separate household item.
A stylist has shared a video on social media showing how she uses a microfiber belt – also known as a bathrobe string – to curl her hair, and she claimed the style held for hours.
Additionally, another savvy woman has revealed how to save time creating perfect curls with zero heat.
Isabella Kate posted a video of herself curling her hair with none other than the handle of her hairbrush.
