Omicron BA.2: WHO issues update on the ‘variant of concern’ - symptoms to spot

WELL established as the dominant strain globally, Omicron BA.1 is no longer the new variant. A new subvariant, known as BA.2 or stealth variant, has emerged and it seems to be more "infectious and severe". The World Health Organization discussed the latest evidence on this new "variant of concern" in a statement.
