A mom of four has shown off how messy her house can get after she and her husband put off tidying for just four days.
One mom went four days without cleaning up after her children[/caption] ‘I have not done dishes or picked things up for four days’[/caption]The messy mom, Bri James, posted a video on social media showing off her very cluttered home, with clutter on the floor and dishes piled high in the sink.
“This is what happens when two really lazy adults have four kids and don’t clean up after themselves,” she said.
Their kitchen floors were covered in wires, toys, and papers, and there was almost no open space on their countertops.
“I have not done dishes or picked things up for four days,” said James, as she showed their table set with dirty dishes and an overflowing sink.
When she walked into the living room, there were containers, trash, laundry, toys, and a number of shoes lying around.
Their closet was left open with items pouring out, and many of their bookshelves and cabinets in their home were a complete disaster.

“It’s not dirty, it’s simply messy,” she claimed.
In the video, two of her young children were seen trying to watch TV among the mess.
But Tiktok users hit out at the parents and said it was not an acceptable environment for four young children.
One posted: “I grew up in a house like this and it affected me in more ways than I know still. Your kids need you to keep it clean.”
Another added: Growing up in a messy/dirty house TRAUMATIZED ME.”
Others questioned the mother, with one saying: “It’s not dirty? There’s food and trash and filth. provide a cleaner environment for your children. Don’t they deserve that?”
And one user asked: “Why would you do this to your kids? Two adults in the house mean there’s no excuse for this.”
Offering a suggestion, one user said: “10 minutes of cleaning before you go to bed. I get that you’re stressed and tired but children don’t deserve to live like that.”
Luckily, there are many simple ways to keep your home tidy and avoid messy pile-ups.
One cleaning expert shared how the six simple tasks she does every day, like making your bed and doing the laundry, keeping your house from ever getting too chaotic.
