Samsung's Galaxy A13 & A33 Renders Leaked, But They Look The Same

0

It seems like Samsung has finalized the design of the upcoming Galaxy A13 and Galaxy A33, as renders of these smartphones have surfaced online. These phones are a part of Samsung's 2022 A-series lineup, which also includes the Galaxy A73 5G and Galaxy A23. While the former may feature a 6.7-inch AMOLED display, the latter is expected to come with a 6.6-inch IPS LCD panel.

Yet another smartphone, the Galaxy A53 5G recently appeared on China's TENAA certification. As per the leaks so far, the smartphone may come with a 6.52-inch AMOLED display with a refresh rate of up to 120Hz. Further, the Galaxy A53 5G could come with a quad-camera setup and a 5,000mAh battery with 25W fast charging.

First, let's talk about the Samsung Galaxy A13. German publication WinFuture says that the Galaxy A13 will be launched in the European market with 4G connectivity. The 6.6-inch 90Hz LCD display with a waterdrop notch, along with a 48MP primary camera and 64GB of internal storage are the key highlights of the Samsung Galaxy A13. Under the hood, the device could feature the octa-core Samsung Exynos 850 processor and a 5,000mAh battery. Leaked renders of the smartphone showcase three familiar colors including white, black and blue. From the images, it appears that the Galaxy A13 may not have a camera bump. Instead, the lenses protrude from the back panel, as seen on the Galaxy S22 Ultra.

On the other hand, the Samsung Galaxy A33 could come with a 6.4-inch 90Hz OLED display with a smaller but similar notch. The smartphone is said to support 5G connectivity and could come with 6GB of RAM and 128GB of storage. It could feature either the Exynos 1200 or the MediaTek Dimensity 720. As seen in the renders, the Galaxy A33 could launch in four colors including white, black, blue, and gold. Unlike the Galaxy A13, the Galaxy A33 seems to have a camera bump, albeit a subtle one. Additionally, there are a total of four camera lenses on the rear panel of the device, along with an LED flash and Samsung's branding towards the base. It is worth mentioning that the Galaxy A33 looks a lot like other devices in the Galaxy A series, including the Galaxy A13. Both the smartphones look nearly identical which may confuse users.

As the Galaxy A13 is a lower-specced device, the leaked price of €200 (about $220) makes sense. In contrast, the Galaxy A33 features better connectivity, display, and processor, which could push its price slightly higher. For reference, the Samsung Galaxy A32 5G is priced at $299 and comes with MediaTek's Dimensity 720 chipset along with 6GB of RAM and 128GB of storage. Looking at the high-quality renders and the almost complete spec sheet, it can be concluded that the Samsung smartphones are about to launch soon.
