Modi arrived in Varanasi on Friday afternoon after addressing an election rally in Mirzapur. He began his roadshow after garlanding the statue of Sardar Patel at Maldahiya Chowk in the city. The route was the same Modi traversed before he filed his nomination papers for the 2014 Lok Sabha elections.
