Misty to start and rain later

0

Hello Friends,

At daybreak the swell at sea was coming from the east and was 2.8 metres at 13 seconds. Tide was coming in to the 1.7 m high at 1110 and there was a faint WNW breeze under partly cloudy skies. There was a fair amount of mist when I grabbed the snaps this morning so hence the grainy look. There were a few bods in the water up at Northy and one or two stalwarts having a go down toward Surfrider Gardens. Around the corner at the Long Reef to Dee Why stretch, I didn’t see anyone in the water and for good reason. It looked big, dirty and the sets were relentless. Not attractive at all.

The showers are set to be back this afternoon and tomorrow we’re looking at rain all day. In fact, it looks like rainy through Tuesday and showery for the remainder of the week. So, no matter what the waves do, this little brown duck’s not making any surfing plans just yet.

Go well everyone and stay safe!
