Two men charged over gunpoint robbery of Marcus Rashford and Trent Alexander-Arnold’s brothers
TWO men have been charged over the gunpoint robbery of the brothers of England football stars Marcus Rashford and Trent Alexander-Arnold.
Dane Rashford, 29, was having breakfast at a restaurant with fellow sports agent Tyler Alexander-Arnold.
Raiders with a shotgun, machete and baseball bat burst in and demanded valuables.
They robbed Rashford of his watch and took Alexander-Arnold’s wallet.
The gang also stole items from three friends, before speeding off in Alexander- Arnold’s Range Rover.
The agents — whose siblings play for Manchester United and Liverpool respectively — were treated in hospital for undisclosed injuries.
The gang swooped at the Little Rock eaterie in Moss Side, Manchester, in January 2019.
Romario Harmer, 20, of Old Trafford, and Talleko Lemonious, 26, of Wythenshawe, faced five counts of robbery at Manchester magistrates’ court last week.
