Tammy Slaton of 1000-Lb Sisters has left a bad taste in fans' mouths as she ditched them on TikTok and seemingly wasted their time. Tammy has a love/hate relationship with her followers, especially when it comes to her multitude of excuses when it comes to her lifestyle. Now, she has added her inability to appear on TikTok as a way to deny fans of any interactions.
Tammy is no stranger to appearing on social media. The Kentucky native enjoys posting on Instagram or TikTok as she tries her best to live as normal of a life as possible. Overall, Queen Tammy's weight loss journey has been well documented for the past three seasons, with fans watching her still struggling to meet the requirements for her gastric bypass surgery. Ever since 1000-Lb Sisters season 3 ended, Tammy has been giving frequent updates on her social media platforms and claimed that she lost over 100 pounds. As of late, however, followers are disappointed with Tammy's lack of interest in them and keeping her word.
This weekend, Tammy once again let her fans down as she failed to appear in a TikTok video. During the week, Tammy began to advertise that she would be taking to a TikTok Live alongside TwistPrintz, which is a printing company. Tammy amped up her fans about the appearance on Instagram as well. Followers of the 1000-Lb Sisters felt that the post might have been a scam and even said so in the post. Alas, what upset fans the most was the fact that Tammy alluded to being able to speak with fans during the live-stream. In the end, though, Tammy was a no-show.

While Tammy did end up going live, viewers were not impressed by her lack of interaction. In the end, Tammy only spent a few minutes on the live-stream. To add insult to injury, her internet connection was lacking, and followers spent most of the TikTok Live trying to figure out what Tammy was even saying. Right after that, it was obvious that the poor connection wasn't going to get better, so Tammy signed off, leaving everyone who had tuned in infuriated for leading them on. Fans were livid that not one question was asked or answered.
While there is no doubt that tuning in was a gigantic waste of time for fans, Tammy doesn't seem upset that her live-stream was a total fail. Those 1000-Lb Sisters fans who arrived too late missed Tammy's TikTok Live entirely. Since October 2021, Tammy has been living in a rehab facility after almost dying when her lungs collapsed. Hopefully, Tammy will do a better job in the future if she ever decides to do something like this again.
