The Congress on the other hand had to bite the dust in the municipal board areas that are represented by its big leaders, state PCC president Bhupen Borah (Bihpuria), leader of opposition Debabrata Saikia (Nazira) and former Assam Congress president Ripun Bora (Gohpur).
