Colton Underwood Shares Advice For Future Bachelor Nation Contestants

Colton Underwood, a former lead on ABC's The Bachelor, opened up about the "improvement" he hopes to see in new seasons of the reality dating series. While Clayton Echard has been a controversial character on the show, Colton continues to be one of the most memorable Bachelor leads in recent years. After being accused of stalking his ex Cassie Randolph, Bachelor Nation was shocked by the religious bachelor's sudden shift after filming.

Colton responded by sharing that communication with the cast is essential to the series' success. Colton has remained on the outskirts of the Bachelor Nation family, but the reality star wishes that the franchise had "listened" to him and "provided help after the show." Seemingly misunderstood, Colton told Andy that he was "thrown to the wolves" after leaving the series and wishes someone had been there to guide him along the way. Without resentment, Colton appears open to helping The Bachelor be more supportive of those who follow in his footsteps and look for love on the reality series.

Even though Colton may not feel like he had the best experience on The Bachelor, he hasn't set aside his stardom just yet. Colton also spoke with Andy about his involvement with reality TV and his new involvement with the series Beyond the Edge. While Colton feels like The Bachelor left him disoriented, he has had the opportunity to "raise money for charity" and "work" as a team with his fellow celebrity contestants on Beyond the Edge. Making the most of his fame and finally feeling a sense of comradery, Colton appears to be enthusiastic about his experience on the series, as well his part in the positivity the reality series has to offer. Even though Colton may not have found love on The Bachelor, he appears to be taking a second chance at reality television.

Since his appearance on The Bachelor, Colton has certainly come a long way in regard to self-discovery. Focused on marrying Jordan and moving on with his life and career, the reality star reflects on the past with hope for the future. Even though the series "changed [his] life" for the worse in many ways, Colton has come to terms with his experiences and recently recentered himself on love and acceptance.
