Warning: SPOILERS lie ahead for Spider-Man: No Way Home
Audiences can watch Spider-Man: No Way Home's opening 10 minutes online for free ahead of the film's debut on digital platforms this week. Tom Holland returned to lead the cast of the Marvel Cinematic Universe threequel as Peter Parker as he has his secret identity exposed to the world by Mysterio at the end of the previous film. With his and his friends futures now threatened, Parker turns to Doctor Strange in the hopes of performing a spell to restore his secret identity, only for it to go wrong and open the doors to the multiverse inviting enemies from other realities to fight.
Alongside Holland, Spider-Man: No Way Home saw the MCU returns of Zendaya, Benedict Cumberbatch, Jacob Batalon, Jon Favreau, Marisa Tomei, Benedict Wong and Tony Revolori. The film also marked the universe debuts of Tobey Maguire and Andrew Garfield as their respective Spider-Men, Willem Dafoe as Green Goblin, Alfred Molina as Doc Ock, Thomas Haden Church as Sandman, Rhys Ifans as Lizard and Jamie Foxx as Electro. Spider-Man: No Way Home also marked the official MCU return and big-screen debut of one fan-favorite character and now audiences are getting their proper look at his return.
With just a day remaining until the film's digital premiere, IGN has released Spider-Man: No Way Home's opening 10 minutes online for free. The portion of the film picks up from the mid-credits scene of its predecessor as Holland's young webslinger has his secret identity outed to the world by Jake Gyllenhaal's Mysterio, subsequently upending his life and requiring the help of Charlie Cox's Matt Murdock/Daredevil. Check out the exciting opening 10 minutes below:
Cox's Daredevil return in Spider-Man: No Way Home was one of the biggest speculated elements of the film's story in the lead up to its release, namely as reports surfaced of the English star being spotted on set in his Matt Murdock costume. Many took to theorizing the reason behind his inclusion in the film, pointing towards Peter Parker's legal troubles after being framed for the murder of a number of people in London and Mysterio as the explanation for why Murdock would get involved. Despite his and co-star Tom Holland's efforts to downplay his involvement in the film, as well as those of Garfield and Maguire, leaks coming out ahead of Spider-Man: No Way Home would confirm his blind lawyer reprisal.
With both Cox's Murdock in Spider-Man: No Way Home and Vincent D'Onofrio's Kingpin in Hawkeye, many have taken to pondering what's to come for the other Netflix Marvel characters in the future. Cox has confirmed there are more plans for his return and has been teasing his own ideas for what could be explored, including a soft reboot, adapting Frank Miller's "Born Again" comic storyline and exploring the relationship between Daredevil and Black Widow. While audiences wait to see what comes next for Cox in the MCU, they can catch up with his return in Spider-Man: No Way Home on digital platforms tomorrow and the first three seasons of Daredevil hitting Disney+ on Wednesday.
