Who is Fox News reporter Benjamin Hall?

Born on July 23, 1982, Benjamin Hall is a British journalist who has worked with Fox News since 2013.

He briefly studied at Duke University in North Carolina, going on to receive a Bachelor’s degree from the Richmond American University in London.

Hall later earned a post-graduate diploma in television journalism from the University of the Arts.

After leaving college, Hall began freelancing with a number of publications, mostly working throughout the Middle East and Africa.

The 39-year-old has words in the New York Times, Sunday Times, BBC, The London Times, Agence France Presse, Playboy, and Esquire Magazine.

A London native, Hall returned to his roots when he was promoted to foreign affairs correspondent at Fox in 2015.

According to the Fox website, Hall “has covered elections in numerous countries, interviewed presidents, prime ministers, foreign ministers, US commanders, ISIS prisoners, and survivors of the genocide against Uighurs in China.”

Since acquiring the position of State Department correspondent, Hall has relocated to Washington, DC.

Is Benjamin Hall reporting from Ukraine?

Following Russia’s invasion of Ukraine in February of 2022, Benjamin Hall has been reporting from the frontlines overseas.

“Anchoring [America’s Newsroom] live from #Ukraine… this is a tragedy that’s only set to get worse,” he wrote via Instagram on February 27.

He hosted his first solo show on March 1; a Ukraine Special with Trey Yingst and Lucas Tomlinson joining as guests.

Hall has previously worked with the British TV stations ITN and Channel 4, and has been known to report from behind enemy lines in places such as Libya, Syria, Iraq, Somalia, Egypt, Haiti, and Iran.

Was Benjamin Hall injured in Ukraine?

In a statement delivered by Fox News on Monday afternoon, the station announced Benjamin Hall has been injured while on the job in Ukraine.

“Earlier today, our correspondent Benjamin Hall was injured while newsgathering outside of Kyiv in Ukraine,” the statement reads.

“We have a minimal level of details right now, but Ben is hospitalized and our teams on the ground are working to gather additional information as the situation quickly unfolds.”

The statement continued: “The safety of our entire team of journalists in Ukraine and the surrounding regions is our top priority and of the utmost importance.

“This is a stark reminder for all journalists who are putting their lives on the line every day to deliver the news from a war zone.”

The statement concluded: “We will update everyone as we know more. Please keep Ben and his family in your prayers.”
