Participating in the Lok Sabha debate on the J&K budget presented by the finance minister, Manish Tewari (Congress) and Saugata Roy (Trinamool) said that the revocation of Article 370 neither improved the standard of living in J&K nor brought investment projects to the state. Tewari and Roy also demanded immediate restoration of statehood and holding of assembly polls.
