90 Day Fiancé: The Most Immature Cast Members In The Franchise
Reality TV fame can often lead to arrested development, but many 90 Day Fiancé stars were already immature before they were featured on the franchise—and they haven’t gotten any more mature since. These cast members regularly get criticized by fans who say they need to gain some independence, set their priorities straight, and grow up already.
There are many stars in the 90 Day Fiancé franchise who have been through a lot in their lives and have risen to the occasion, which often includes them having to grow up faster than they should have. Though it’s unfair that they had to mature so quickly, as a result, they have become successful and capable adults.
However, that’s not the case for many other franchise stars. These cast members are all adults, but they certainly don’t act like it. Some are still fairly young and at least have that as a flimsy excuse, but others are well-past middle age and should know better. Fans are likely to continue dragging these stars online for their very immature behavior.
Fans have long accused Colt of being a "man-child” because of the way he doesn’t take responsibility for his own actions and the fact that he still lives with his mother Debbie. In his relationships with Larissa Lima, Jess Caroline, and Vanessa Guerra, he’s been emotionally immature and not upfront, and it led most of them to fail. Many viewers thought that after several seasons of being on the franchise, Colt would have saved up enough to move out on his own and start a life separate from his mom. However, as of the 90 Day: The Single Life season 2 Tell-All, Colt is still living with Debbie as a married man.
When Nicole first appeared on 90 Day Fiancé season 4, she was only 22-years-old, so it’s not too surprising that she lacked maturity, but throughout four seasons in the franchise, Nicole never grew much. In fact, it was on Nicole’s second visit to Morocco to see her fiancé, Azan Tefou, that she thought it was a good idea to bring her young daughter May, and even told her to call Azan her new dad. Nicole never seems to learn from her mistakes and has recently been irritating fans with misleading and opportunistic clickbait Instagram posts.
Many fans would argue that Mike isn’t a man-child; he’s a man-baby.. His gross habits and extreme messiness have been called out by his fiancé Ximena Morales on 90 Day Fiancé: Before the 90 Days, and it’s driving her away from Mike. But his immaturity runs deeper than nasty habits as Mike lacks any sense of independence or autonomy in a relationship because he has virtually no dating experience. It’s led to him staring at Ximena while she sleeps and overlooking her unforgivable behavior. If Mike doesn’t grow up soon, he’ll continue to be used in relationships.
Asuelu has always struck fans as being especially childish, which can be a big problem now that he has children. His claim that condoms are “for slut people” is laughable but demonstrates his intense stubbornness. With her husband Asuelu, Kalani Faagata often feels like she has three children to take care of instead of just two and complains that she doesn’t get enough help from Asuelu. It doesn’t help that Asuelu has also expressed a desire to have more kids, and if he were more mature, he might realize that they don’t have the resources for more children at the moment, and that’s ok.
Currently, Angela seems to be experiencing a second adolescence as a result of her 90 Day Fiancé franchise fame, and to many fans, it just feels desperate and inappropriate for her age. Not only has Angela pursued Michael Ilesanmi, a much younger man, she’s also allergic to acting her own age. It’s one thing to have a May-December romance, but Angela has been pressuring her daughter to donate one of her eggs to help the couple have a baby. On Instagram, Angela is even more cringey and often parties like someone much younger, and fans are embarrassed for her.
Syngin is in his 30s, but you wouldn’t know it by watching him. The way he behaved in his relationship with his ex-wife Tania Maduro demonstrated extreme emotional immaturity. Syngin is someone who likes to go with the flow and take it easy, which includes avoiding work at all costs. He also lacked maturity during his breakup with Tania. Syngin wanted Tania to continue the housework and sleep with her, while he still pursued other relationships. Many fans criticize Syngin for his arrested development and think he needs to act like the adult he is.
Many viewers have called Natalie childish, and it’s all because of the way she acts. Though Natalie is in her late 30s, she loves to claim that she wants to have a baby before she gets too old, despite behaving like one herself. When Natalie doesn’t get her way, it’s not uncommon for her to pout and give someone the silent treatment. It’s not a very adult way to act, and Natalie approaches most of her problems with that same level of immaturity. It’s no surprise that her ex-husband Mike Youngquist often felt so exasperated with her.
Ben is another cast member who purposefully acts much younger than his age. Though he has several children and is 52-years-old, Ben has different priorities than raising his kids. Instead, he’s pursuing a relationship with a 22-year-old who doesn’t seem interested in him. Instead, Ben acts like a lovesick teenager and wants to continue his problematic relationship with Peruvian young adult Mahogany Roca. Surprisingly, Mahogany often comes across as the more mature one of the pair, and fans say Ben needs to grow up.
Though these 90 Day Fiancé cast members lack maturity, they’ve been able to make life work for them somehow. Most people have things like responsibilities and obligations that are more important than their desire to act like children. However, these stars have proven that they’re not interested in behaving like mature adults, and they can expect fans to continue calling them out for not acting their age.
