Late Night Leagues running in Fingal

The now well-established program is a fully funded initiative to engage youths at anti-social hours and to help forge relationships none more so than with the Gardai.

The local football clubs give great support offering their facilities and through local promotion. Venues regularly see numbers ranging from 50-80 youths. Commenting on this initiative Paul Keogh FAI/Fingal County Council Development Officer stated: “The Late Night Leagues are an integral part of giving back to local communities and give youths a focus on Friday and Saturday evenings.

"My colleagues Sharon Boyle, Jamie Wilson and Sean Moore always wish to acknowledge the grassroots clubs support in terms of outreach and the positive relationship we have with the local Garda. The partnership between FAI and Fingal County Council sports department means we are continuously adding venues and increase the roll out of these and similar initiatives."
