[Men's Bowling] Saint Xavier Men's Bowling Misses Cut for ITC Finals

Dayton, Ohio – The Saint Xavier University men's bowling team finished sixth out of 18 teams at the ITC (Intercollegiate Team Championship) Sectionals Tournament at Poelking Lanes South in Dayton, Ohio this past weekend. The top four teams from the four sectional sites qualify for the ITC National Tournament and the Cougars missed qualifying by 210 pins, finishing with 12,242 after 64 Baker Games. In the individual portion of the event last Friday, senior Alex Acosta (Bolingbrook, Ill./Bolingbrook) missed qualification by just 15 pins, totaling 1,218 in six games and placing sixth, as the top four earn a spot in the ISC Finals (Intercollegiate Singles Championship).
