Louise Redknapp slammed by fans for giving new puppy ‘dangerous’ chew toy
LOUISE Redknapp has been warned that her new puppy’s chew toy is dangerous.
The 47-year-old singer got a bulldog called Banksy Blu earlier this month after the dog she shared with ex Jamie died.
She shared a picture of the dog gnawing on a new toy, with Louise writing: “Banksy Blu having a chew.”
But several followers objected, with one writing: “Just no, you should never EVER give a puppy raw hide. For the love of god take it off him, give him something else.”
Another insisted: “Be super careful with rawhide babe especially with bull breeds, they can be so dangerous.”
A third wrote: “Gorgeous but I wouldn’t recommend rawhide it is so bad as the stomach can not digest once swallowed .”
One other said simply: “Take that off him very dangerous x.”
Louise later replied: “Hi guys thanks for all the advice on rawhide we took it off him pretty quick before it got soft and could get caught in his throat. Thanks for all the concern xxx.”
Introducing the dog, she said: “Say hello to Banksy Blu… he’s definitely settled in what a beaut he is!”
He is a replacement for Blubelle, one of two dogs former footballer Jamie, 48, and ex Louise shared with their sons Charley, 16, and Beau, 12.
