Meanwhile, Dolly is happy to portray the role of a Punjabi woman in the show Parineetii. “It is not the first time that I am playing the role of a Punjabi woman on screen, but this is different. I dress up like the women who live in the rural villages of Punjab. I feel that is something which is rarely seen on our shows. I am from Punjab and showcasing our tradition and culture is amazing,” she says.
