CONSTITUTION HILL smashed the field in the Sky Bet Supreme Novices’ Hurdle to get the Cheltenham Festival off to a flier.
It was a Nicky Henderson one-two with Jonbon back in second – some 22 lengths behind.

Delighted trainer Nicky Henderson landed a 1-2 but revealed his winner was more than he could have anticipated.
He told ITV: “That was awesome, obviously I know what the second horse is!
“I’d have been surprised to see anyone do that to Jonbon. He must be extraordinary!”
But it was a horrible race for connections of Shallwehaveonemore, with the 40-1 shot suffering a fatal injury after falling.
