He is one of the seven oligarchs targeted by the UK government in an estimated £15 billion sanction hit, alongside Chelsea FC owner Roman Abramovich.
Deripaska has a multi-million-pound property portfolio in the UK, including the London mansion that was taken over by protestors.
He used to be married to Polina Yumasheva from 2001 until 2018. Together, they have two children—a daughter named Maria and son named Pyotr.
Polina’s father is Valentin Yumashev who was the former chief of staff and is the current son-in-law of Russia’s first president, Boris Yeltsin.
