Major lithium miner Albemarle will fully cooperate with Chile’s environmental regulator, Superintendencia del Medio Ambiente (SMA), in respect to charges that it over-extracted the ultralight metal and over-used its hydric allowance at its facilities in Chile’s Atacama Desert, the company said on Monday March 14.
