Venezuelan Baseball Federation holds umpire, technical commissioner courses

<p>Within the Ordinary General Assembly framework and the final phase of the U-11 National Championship, the Venezuelan Baseball Federation (FEVEBEISBOL) brought together a large group of umpires and technical commissioners for professionalization, updating and improvement courses.</p>

<p>Oscar Izaguirre, FEVEBEISBOL secretary-general and a WBSC international scorer, and Miguel Hernandez, the director-general of the Venezuelan Umpire Camp, coordinated the educational programs.</p>

<p>"The best 25 of the evaluation test will be classified as A and will serve as international umpires," confirmed <strong>Izaguirre</strong>. </p>

<p>Veteran international umpire <strong>Maite Bullones</strong> added: "Every day we learn something new, and baseball always brings different things, new rules, and we must update ourselves. I like to come here and keep learning despite years of experience." </p>
