Vanderpump Rules: Lala Kent Dumps Date Over Failed ‘PI Check’
Lala Kent recently dumped one of her dates after the Vanderpump Rules star received a lackluster background check on the guy. Lala continues to dish on her life post-Randall following their messy breakup last year. As a single mom and reality star, Lala is being transparent about her readjustment back to single life. But after dating a "serial cheater", Lala is resorting to private investigators to determine if a man is worth her time or not.
There have been many nice things Lala has said about Randall since last October. She has ripped Randall apart for allegedly cheating throughout their entire five-year relationship. Most recently, Lala revealed a girl he is dating is someone he was involved with while she was pregnant with their daughter Ocean. Lala even blasted the photos Randall posts with their daughter calling them "gross" and accusing her ex-fiance of calling paparazzi to stage photoshoots whenever he's on daddy duty. It's no secret how scarred Lala is by her last relationship.
As a result, Lala is taking precautions when deciding on who to date. The Give Them Lala author recently hosted her Balling on a Budget: Date Night Looks live stream on Amazon Live and opened up about her most recent date. Lala revealed that "it was a group date," since those are the only types of dates she's "comfortable with right now," she explained. While the guy "was fine" during the date, a background check ended up making it their last date. "The PI [private investigator] check didn't come back so great," Lala revealed. "So I had to kick him to the curb." The testimony shows just how serious Lala is about not dating another cheater.
Lala admitted, after the last date didn't work out, she hasn't "been on a date since." The podcast host is still putting herself out there to meet new people. "I've been talking to people, but no dates," she confessed. Right now, the only dates she's going on are with her mom and daughter. Lala also shared that she's in a "good mental place" amid her breakup. "I feel healthy, happy, independent," she shared. Lala's latest update on her dating life comes after she opened up about her first group date in January. Lala shared her excitement to start dating again but was adamant about getting background checks performed on her potential dates.
She obviously is sticking to her word. Lala is among a new group of single Vanderpump Rules stars after a series of breakups. In addition to Lala and Randall, James Kennedy and Raquel Leviss called off their engagement during the season 9 reunion. Most recently, sources revealed Tom Schwartz and Katie Maloney are taking time apart amid divorce speculation. If the show does return for another season, Lala will have an entirely new storyline. Since wrapping season 9 she called off her engagement and moved out of Randall's home. James and Lala might start hitting the town together like in old times.
