According to a summary from the outlet, the show centers on “a talented but directionless P.I. who begrudgingly agrees to work as the in-house investigator for his overbearing mother Joan (Geena), a successful attorney reeling from the recent dissolution of her marriage.”

Skylar will play Todd, who is described as the “problem child” of his family and is constantly disappointing his ambitious mom. Despite losing his license to some messy misunderstandings, he’s got a knack for solving cases and is a master of tech and social media.
