Man falls off ladder in Balzan

A worker is being treated in hospital after falling off a ladder while working in Balzan on Tuesday evening.

The police said they were called to Bertu Fenech Square at about 9pm where they found that the 27-year-old from Gambia had fallen off a ladder. He was given first aid and taken to Mater Dei Hospital. His condition was described as serious.

A police investigation is underway.
