Man Utd, Chelsea and Liverpool set for transfer battle over Barcelona wonderkid Gavi and can land him for just £42m
PREMIER LEAGUE trio Manchester United, Chelsea and Liverpool are reportedly set for a transfer battle over Barcelona wonderkid Gavi.
The up-and-coming Spaniard is out of contract next summer and has attracted interest from a host of top European clubs.
According to Mundo Deportivo, an agreement between Barca and Gavi’s agent is not close.
And with just over a year left on his contract, the 17-year-old is subject to transfer interest, particularly from the Prem.
‘Negotiations are stuck’, opening the door for a move to Man Utd, Chelsea and Liverpool.
Gavi could be snapped up for £42million this summer should he decide to leave.

His release clause will then increase to £100m after June 30, but Barca would still be at risk of losing the academy graduate.
Club legend and Barca manager Xavi is a big fan of the young midfielder.
The Spanish World Cup winner says ‘incredible’ Gavi ‘amazes’ him.
Speaking after Barca scored four past an opponent for the fourth time in six games, Xavi said: “Gavi amazes me.

“It’s fantastic how he works, how he pressures, and also with the ball he still needs to raise his head more, but he is 17 years old, Gavi is incredible.”
Barca have seen an uptake in form after their successful January transfer window.
Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang and Ferran Torres have both had a massive impact in attack.
The pair have scored 11 goals between them.
On Torres, Xavi said: “It was a matter of time before Ferran started to put them in.
“He’s done it everywhere in his career. At Valencia, Manchester City, the national team…
“Sometimes Ferran has been unlucky in front of goal, but for the rest he generates a lot for us.
“He is one of the best runners in the team, and look: two goals.”
And on former Arsenal captain Aubameyang, he said: “Aubameyang is a gift from the skies.
“He’s positive, hardworking, and fits well in the dressing room. It’s a privilege to coach him.”
