I work at Wendy’s – the menu item I think is overrated and three others that are totally worth it
A WENDY’S employee has revealed the best items on the menu in his opinion – however, one of them is super overrated.
The Canadian-based employee, who remained anonymous on social media, shared how the overhyped item was so popular he once had someone order 25 of them.
The large Wendy’s order was actually placed for the popular junior bacon cheeseburger.
Despite it being a pretty good sandwich, there were finer options to choose from at the fast-food chain, according to the employee.
BACONATOR
For instance, he claimed the Baconator was a far better choice. The sandwich is stacked with two meat patties and loaded with extra bacon.
He admitted in the clip: “[They’re] so bomb, to be honest. I crave them.”

CHICKEN NUGGETS
If you’re not that into bacon, the staff member suggested trying the chicken nuggets.
Aside from being delicious, the staff member emphasized how you can pick up a good portion of them for just $3 dollars.
SPICY CHICKEN SANDWICH
Lastly, the fast-food expert not only advised trying the spicy chicken sandwich but also adding a bit of sriracha to it.
He noted: “My favorite.”

And it looks like he wasn’t the only one adding an extra condiment onto the sandwich.
One person commented on his post: “Spicy chicken with sriracha!! Finally, I found my people.”
A second suggested: “The spicy chicken sandwich is the best chicken sandwich ever. It’s better than Popeye’s. I said what I said.”
“Wendy’s will forever be my first choice when it comes to fast food,” continued a third.
While you’re enjoying one of these delicious choices, check out the real-life girl who inspired Wendy’s and its logo.
It turns out the little girl, Melinda “Wendy” Thomas is still linked to the fast-food chain by her dad, the founder.
In fact, in 2019, she celebrated the 50 year anniversary by sharing details in a blog post of how her father decided to start the chain.
