Although Meri and Robyn are two of the closer Sister Wives stars, Kody's relationships with the pair of wives could not be more opposite. Kody and Meri founded the Brown family in 1990, but over the three decades they've been together, Kody and Meri's relationship has demonstrated the flaws of polygamous marriages. When Robyn joined the Brown family's plural marriage in 2010, she swiftly became the apple of Kody's eye. Regrettably, Kody failed to distribute his affection evenly and left Meri feeling lonely for years as he focused his attention on Robyn. Although neither sister wife wants to acknowledge the significance of their legal documents, fans think Meri and Robyn's marriage certificates are valuable because they symbolize their relationships with Kody.
While Kody would have preferred to be legally wed to all of his wives, only Meri and Robyn Brown ever got the opportunity to be officially married to the patriarch.
