The Silver Scarab is a Talisman in Elden Ring that functions similarly to the Gold Scarab, but instead of increasing the Runes gained from enemies, the Talisman significantly boosts Item Discovery. This buff also stacks with the temporary boost applied with the Silver-Pickled Fowl Foot. Hence, eating the silver bird toes and wearing the Silver Scarab will collectively increase Item Discovery in Elden Ring by 125. Such a buff will be incredibly beneficial when farming for a specific gear or item drop, such as the Four-Toed Fowl Foot.
The hidden location of the Silver Scarab is one of the most obscure and elusive places in the game, as Tarnished will encounter both an Illusory Floor and Wall to reach it. Regardless, to get the Talisman, adventurers must first gain access to the Hidden Path to the Haligtree within the Forbidden Lands. This area becomes available once the protagonist has collected the two halves of the Haligtree Secret Medallion, which is used to activate the hidden mechanism of the Grand Lift of Rold.
Of the two sides, the Haligtree Secret Medallion (Right) is the easier to find in Elden Ring, located within the Village of the Albinaurics of South Liurnia. After arriving in the desolate village, head to the top of the hill on the right to encounter Albus. He will be initially disguised as a pot, so the player must strike him once to dispel his masquerade. After a bit of dialogue, Albus will grant the protagonist half of the medallion.

The Haligtree Secret Medallion (Left), on the other hand, is considerably more challenging to acquire. Head to Castle Sol in the north of the Mountaintops of the Giants. After getting through the bailey to reach the rooftop, Tarnished will encounter Commander Niall, a powerful Dungeon Boss in Elden Ring who must be defeated to get the left side of the medallion. Once adventurers take him down, they can return to the Grand Lift of Rold and enter the Hidden Path to the Haligtree.
The Hidden Path to the Haligtree is a rather small zone but still contains dangerous enemies, such as a giant octopus enemy and imp soldiers. After the first flight of steps, players will arrive on a circular platform surrounded by a short railing. However, one section of the fencing on the southwestern side will be broken. Below this spot sits an invisible platform, where players can walk across the abyss into a small corridor on the left. Next, strike the Illusory Wall behind the Grave Glovewort [9] to reveal a chest. Open it to receive the well-earned Silver Scarab Talisman in Elden Ring.
Elden Ring is available on PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X, and PC.
