Vitamin deficiencies: The major signs of deformed red blood cells – megaloblastic anaemia

WITHOUT the body obtaining or holding on to vital nutrients, red blood cells become misshapen and deformed. These immature cells are incapable of carrying oxygen like they are supposed to. As oxygen levels deplete within tissues and organs inside of the body, characteristics of megaloblastic anaemia begin to surface; warning signs are emitted to signal that something is wrong.
