THE woman with the world’s biggest mouth was gobsmacked — by a hot cross bun the size of her head.

Samantha Ramsdell, 31, can scoff whole sarnies and apples but almost choked on Aldi’s 8in buttered Easter treat, four times the normal size.

Ms Ramsdell, who holds the Guinness World Record for the planet’s largest gob, admitted defeat to her 2.9 million online followers.

The 31-year-old, from Stamford, Connecticut, below, said: “I wanted to see if I could take things to the next level but this hot cross bun is so big it defeated me.”

Aldi today announced Britons can try to get their mouth around the bun – as it will be in stores in the UK from March 27.

Ms Ramsdell added: “Despite failing the challenge, I really loved the taste.

“The bun is super buttery and delicious with loads of juicy fruit – one to tell my American pals about for sure.”
