My husband was best man at my first wedding – he announced he was in love with me during his speech
A WOMAN has revealed how she left her husband for his best man after he confessed his love for her during his speech.
Desiree White shared the story on TikTok in a video that has since gone viral, amassing over 360,000 views.
The mum-of-four revealed that she had met her now husband Bryant when she was 16, and she, him and her ex had all been close friends.
She explained: “We’ve been on double dates. I was the person Bryant came to about girls, Bryant was the person I went to about things.
“We always just clicked and there was always this thing about him that was easy for me to connect to.”
She explained that Bryant would often throw parties and while she never went her ex did and claims he would be unfaithful there.

Desiree says: “He knew what my ex was doing behind the scenes you know what I mean, he wasn’t faithful.
“The best man speech comes around, Bryant’s drunk and it goes along the lines of, ‘I’ve loved you since the moment I saw you, there’s no one like you’
“That night Bryant said to me during our last dance ‘if I’m the best man then why didn’t you ever give me a chance? I would have always taken care of you.’”
After less than a year with her ex-husband Desiree divorced him after several red flags arose and she found that Bryant became a shoulder to cry on.

She explains: “Bryant was just really there for me – one day we kissed and I liked it and then we became more than friends.
“Friends became dating and dating became married and then married became ten years with four boys.”
